OUR METHOD
STEP 1
On site inspection to offer an accurate quotation and assess the safety of the loft.

STEP 4
STEP 5
STEP 6
Following the inspection, a quote, terms of business and timescale for the job are given. A start date for the job is then set.
Specialised insulation saws are used to cut large pieces of foam. We use scrapers and pallet knives with precision to extract foam from corners, ensuring no damage to felt.
Rafters are ice blasted if deemed necessary.
All waste is removed from the site and correctly disposed of.
Loft insulation can be renewed following inspection.
WHY REMOVE SPRAY FOAM?
Mortgage lenders in the UK are hesitant to approve loans for properties with spray foam insulation due to several issues:

- Limited Inspection: Spray foam hides roof timbers, making it hard for surveyors to assess potential damage like rot or moisture.

- Moisture Risks: Closed-cell foam can trap moisture, leading to condensation, rot, and weakened roof structures.

- Evolving Standards: Spray foam's use in roofs is still not widely accepted, and industry standards are developing.
Removing the foam is often cheaper than a full roof replacement and can address these concerns.
